About team and how you fit in

At Sudolabs we are expanding our technology team. We're looking for JS developers, who have relevant experience with React and/or Node.js (you'll find the whole tech stack we use below). You will work in a team of 3-5 engineers using agile development processes, always working on a single project at a time. Prepare for detailed code reviews and pair programming.

As a staff engineer, we expect you to:

• often create tooling and support colleagues across the whole company
• have responsibility for technical decisions across the whole company
• often work on improving development processes
• always make decisions based on business needs
• help tech leaders with, or as a tech leader be responsible for creating roadmaps
• architecture, and estimates
• have a big picture knowledge and experience across the full-stack (web/mobile, backend, infrastructure)
• often promote the company in public by publishing/public speaking/contributing to open source
• often communicate technical stuff and product with the client or project manager
• always research new trends and technologies
• always improve and manage contributions to the knowledge-base

Who are we looking for?

• JS developers, who have relevant experience with React and/or Node.js.
• code quality is one of the most important things for us, so we expect you to care about the code you write
• product-oriented thinking
• the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
• you should be eager to learn new things and improve your skills
• we’re expecting you to be open-minded, share feedback, and spread knowledge to other team members, contributing to our knowledge-base and from time to time to organize discussions, and events
